Paul Curry

The award is named in honour of the late Paul Curry, a local fire-fighter, who died in 1999 aged 55. During his career he worked at all of Coventry’s four fire stations and was an assistant divisional commander by his retirement in 1995. He was also heavily involved with local football, including Firefighters Juniors, and was a Central League referee and Football League linesman.
