New Referees Course in Coventry...

For January 2014 – BOOKING NOW!

9th December 2013

RefereeFurther to the BCFA’s research into referee coverage within the County Leagues, it was found that in the area of Coventry and the surrounding areas, there was a significant shortage of referees to cover the necessary games for the league. In order to help increase these referee numbers the BCFA have announced a brand new referee course for the Coventry area.

The course will provide new recruits with a nationally registered FA qualification to referee in 11-a-side football in the Birmingham County FA area. The course will take place at the Alan Higgs Centre in January 2014, and run until February, followed by 6 development and training matches in February and March.

The course has a basic fee of £135. This will include all the course materials, practical sessions run by FA Licenced Referee Tutors, a mentor to assist you as your start your refereeing as well as a basic referee kit and referee badge once you fulfil the requirements of the basic referees course.

This is a great opportunity to train under FA Licenced coaches to learn the skills required to referee on 11-a-side football.

BCFATo register your interest for the course directly, please go to www.birminghamfa.com/referees/become-a-referee to download the referee course questionnaire. If you would like more information on the course, please call 0121 357 4278 or email referees@birminghamfa.com
